What coffee catering actually costs per person in Miami
Almost every coffee catering company in Miami is a mobile coffee cart, and most of them start at around a thousand dollars before anyone has talked about how many people are coming. GROU is not a cart. It is a coffee shop in Coral Gables, so the catering comes out of the same kitchen that serves the neighborhood every morning, it travels in boxes, and the price is printed on the menu before you ask for it.
Here is the arithmetic, done on our own published prices. A 96 oz Coffee Box is $22 and pours twelve 8 oz cups, which works out to about $1.85 a head for the coffee.

Every range is the list price divided by the serving count printed on each item, so read it as a planning number and not as a quote. Tax, the $1.99 service fee and delivery sit on top.

Two things are worth knowing before you order. Cups, stirrers, sweeteners and half and half are not automatically in the box: add the Coffee Setup Package or the Tea Setup Package at checkout, or you will be handing people 96 oz of coffee and nothing to drink it from. And the Tea Jar comes in Hibiscus Berry, Lavender Lemonade or Green Tea, hot or iced, which you pick in the order note rather than from a dropdown.
The orange juice is assorted across five pressings: orange, orange ginger, orange pineapple, orange carrot and orange beet. The boxes are brewed coffee, cold brew and tea. Espresso drinks and matcha are made to order at the bar, so they are not part of the box menu.

All of them serve 10 to 12. The Ultimate Breakfast Box is the one to order when you do not want to think about it: it is the whole pastry case in one box, and it is what usually shows up at a client breakfast or a Saturday offsite.

The platters serve 10 to 12 and they are cut for standing, not for a knife and fork. If you have only ever had the avocado toast sitting down at the shop, the platter is the same build in a size that survives a conference table.

These are the ones that hold. Parfaits and overnight oats come in individual cups, they do not wilt the way a platter does across a three hour meeting, and the oats are vegan by default, which quietly solves the guest who cannot have dairy.

Both serve 10 to 12. The Healthy Dessert Box exists because someone at every event cannot eat the normal one, and sending that person a fruit plate is not a solution.
How far ahead you need to order
This is the number nobody else in Miami coffee catering publishes, so here it is plainly.
- 4 hours is the minimum for a scheduled catering order, and you can book up to 30 days out.
- 24 hours on two items specifically: the Croissant Box and the Ultimate Breakfast Assorted Pastries Box. They are baked to the order.
- One extra hour of prep if you order more than 5 Coffee Boxes. Sixty cups of coffee is a brew schedule, not a button.
- The on-site barista bar is scheduled by quote, not through the storefront, so give it more room than four hours.
The ordering window is the shop's own hours: Monday to Friday 7:30 AM to 6 PM, Saturday and Sunday 8:30 AM to 3 PM.
Delivery, pickup and the part with no minimum
There is no guest minimum and no package minimum. The only threshold anywhere in the system is a $10 subtotal for delivery, and pickup does not even have that. A team of six can order a $22 Coffee Box and a $30 Overnight Oats 6-Pack and be finished. That is the real difference between ordering from a coffee shop and booking a coffee cart company, and it is worth saying out loud, because the rest of the category quotes four figures before it quotes anything else.

Dadeland, Brickell and the offices around Miami International Airport sit near the edge of that radius, so ask and we will confirm before you plan around it. For anything further out, including Downtown, Doral, Key Biscayne, Pinecrest and Miami Beach, we quote rather than promise. The barista bar, when boxes are not the point
Boxes are the right answer for a morning meeting. They are the wrong answer for a launch party, a wedding welcome or an open house where the coffee is supposed to be part of the room. For those we bring the bar and the people: our own baristas set up on site and make drinks for your guests through the event, on the same espresso we pull in the shop.
What we are not going to do is publish a guest range, a staffing ratio, a setup time or a starting price for it, because every room is different and a number posted here would be wrong for half of them. Send us the date, the guest count, the address and whether it is indoors or outdoors, and we will scope it properly. Start at the catering page, or if the answer turns out to be that the event should just happen here, we also host private events in the space.
Building an order for 10, 25 or 50 people
Three worked examples, using nothing but the prices above.
10 people, morning meeting. One Coffee Box and one Croissant Box is $74, about $7.40 a head. Order it the day before, because the croissants need 24 hours.
25 people, half day workshop. Three Coffee Boxes, one Cold Brew Jar, two Empanadas Boxes, one Pan de Bono Box and a Bottled Water 12-Pack comes to $246, just under $10 a head. Three coffee boxes is under the five box threshold, so four hours notice is enough.
50 people, launch or open house. Five Coffee Boxes, two Cold Brew Jars, two Ultimate Breakfast Boxes, two Empanadas Boxes and two OJ 12-Packs is $660, or $13.20 a head. Two things to watch here: the Ultimate Breakfast Boxes need 24 hours, and five coffee boxes puts you right at the line where a bigger order needs an extra hour of prep.
