Best Restaurants in Coconut Grove (2026): 15 for Lunch or Dinner, by Google Rating

By GROU Coffee

Fifteen Coconut Grove restaurants sorted by Google rating, weekday lunch hours, cuisine category and price level, so you can pick a table for lunch or dinner by the numbers. Plus one coffee and laptop stop just west, in Coral Gables.

Of the fifteen Coconut Grove restaurants in this guide, four share the highest Google rating, 4.9: Mister O1 Extraordinary Pizza at 3015 Grand Ave Ste 165 (13,446 reviews), Bayshore Club Bar & Grill (10,765), CRAFT Coconut Grove (2,828) and Da Angelino (906). If the question is lunch in Coconut Grove, twelve of the fifteen are open by noon every weekday, and four of them are already open at 8 AM. Below, the same fifteen restaurants are sorted four ways: by rating, by who is open for lunch on a weekday, by the kind of food Google files them under, and by price level.

Every figure in this guide comes from each restaurant's Google listing as of October 2026: rating, number of reviews, hours, category and price level. Hours change, so check before you go. All fifteen are in ZIP code 33133 and have at least 300 Google reviews. It is a shortlist picked to cover different cuisines and budgets, not every kitchen in the neighborhood, and the order is always a number, never our opinion.

Which Coconut Grove restaurants have the best Google ratings?

A rating is half of the information: a 4.9 from thirteen thousand people and a 4.9 from nine hundred are the same score with different amounts of evidence behind them. So each line gives both numbers, ordered by rating and then by review count.

  • Mister O1 Extraordinary Pizza - Coconut Grove, 3015 Grand Ave Ste 165: 4.9 on Google with 13,446 reviews.
  • Bayshore Club Bar & Grill, 3391 Pan American Dr: 4.9 with 10,765 reviews.
  • CRAFT Coconut Grove, 3324 Virginia St: 4.9 with 2,828 reviews.
  • Da Angelino | Cucina Italiana, 3015 Grand Ave #120: 4.9 with 906 reviews.
  • Chug's Diner, 3444 Main Hwy Ste 21: 4.8 with 5,773 reviews.
  • Level 6 Rooftop Restaurant Miami, 3480 Main Hwy 6th floor: 4.8 with 3,505 reviews.
  • Narbona Coconut Grove, 3015 Grand Ave Ste 116: 4.8 with 3,032 reviews.
  • bartaco, 3112 Commodore Plaza: 4.8 with 1,801 reviews.
  • Casa Xabi, 3145 Commodore Plaza: 4.8 with 723 reviews.
  • Chop Steakhouse & Bar, 3015 Grand Ave Ste 101: 4.8 with 607 reviews.
  • Avo Miami, 2911 Grand Ave #400d: 4.8 with 563 reviews.
  • Drinking Pig BBQ, 3444 Main Hwy #16: 4.8 with 434 reviews.
  • Pauloluigi, 2859 Bird Ave: 4.8 with 314 reviews.
  • Monty's Raw Bar, 2550 S Bayshore Dr: 4.6 with 14,543 reviews.
  • Koko, 2856 Tigertail Ave: 4.6 with 1,574 reviews.

Read the review count next to the score. Monty's Raw Bar and Koko share the lowest rating here, 4.6, and Monty's also has the most reviews of all fifteen, 14,543. One practical detail hides in the addresses: four of the fifteen share the same street number, 3015 Grand Ave, in different suites. Those are Mister O1, Da Angelino, Narbona and Chop Steakhouse & Bar.

Where can you get lunch in Coconut Grove on a weekday?

A weekday lunch in Coconut Grove is not hard to find. Twelve of the fifteen restaurants are open by noon from Monday to Friday. Here they are by the hour they open.

  • Open since the morning: Avo Miami (7 AM to 10 PM every day), Chug's Diner (from 7:30 AM), CRAFT Coconut Grove (8 AM to 10 PM every day) and Narbona Coconut Grove (from 8 AM).
  • 11 AM: bartaco at 3112 Commodore Plaza and Chop Steakhouse & Bar.
  • 11:30 AM: Mister O1 at 3015 Grand Ave Ste 165, Bayshore Club Bar & Grill and Monty's Raw Bar.
  • Noon: Da Angelino, Casa Xabi and Koko.

All twelve list one continuous block of hours on weekdays, with no break in the afternoon, so a 2:30 PM lunch works as well as a noon one. The one catch is Chug's Diner, which closes at 3 PM on Monday and Tuesday and stays open until 10 PM from Wednesday to Saturday.

The other three need a look at the calendar. Pauloluigi opens at 11 AM on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, but at 4 PM on Monday, Wednesday and Sunday, and it is closed on Tuesday. Level 6 Rooftop opens at 5 PM from Monday to Friday. The only days it opens earlier are Saturday and Sunday, at 11 AM. Drinking Pig BBQ is closed Monday and Tuesday, opens at 5 PM from Wednesday to Friday, and starts at noon on Saturday and Sunday.

The weekend is simpler: on Saturday all fifteen are open by noon, and on Sunday fourteen are, because Pauloluigi starts at 4 PM.

What kind of food do Coconut Grove restaurants serve?

Google gives every listing a primary category. It is a blunt label, but it is the same label for everybody. These are the categories exactly as Google shows them.

  • Pizza restaurant: Mister O1 Extraordinary Pizza at 3015 Grand Ave Ste 165, and Pauloluigi. Google describes Mister O1 as traditional Italian thin crust pizza, with salads and antipasti made from ingredients that are sourced locally or come from Italy.
  • Italian restaurant: Da Angelino | Cucina Italiana.
  • American restaurant: CRAFT Coconut Grove.
  • Bar & grill: Bayshore Club Bar & Grill.
  • Diner: Chug's Diner.
  • Taco restaurant: bartaco at 3112 Commodore Plaza.
  • Mexican restaurant: Koko.
  • Basque restaurant: Casa Xabi.
  • Steak house: Chop Steakhouse & Bar.
  • Barbecue restaurant: Drinking Pig BBQ.
  • Seafood restaurant: Monty's Raw Bar, which Google describes as a funky bayside hangout with drinks, a raw bar, live music and a weeknight happy hour.
  • Restaurant, with no cuisine attached: Level 6 Rooftop Restaurant Miami, Narbona Coconut Grove and Avo Miami. The label tells you nothing about the plate, so open their menus before you decide.

How expensive are restaurants in Coconut Grove?

Google publishes a price level for twelve of these fifteen, on its four step scale from $ to $$$$.

  • $ (inexpensive): Pauloluigi.
  • $$ (moderate): CRAFT Coconut Grove, Chug's Diner, Narbona, bartaco, Avo Miami, Drinking Pig BBQ and Monty's Raw Bar.
  • $$$ (expensive): Da Angelino, Casa Xabi and Koko.
  • $$$$ (very expensive): Level 6 Rooftop Restaurant Miami.

Mister O1 on Grand Ave, Bayshore Club Bar & Grill and Chop Steakhouse & Bar have no price level on Google, so for those three the menu is the only way to know before you sit down.

Put the price next to the lunch hours and a pattern shows up. Six of the seven $$ places are open for lunch every weekday, with Drinking Pig BBQ as the exception. The three $$$ restaurants all open at noon, seven days a week. The single $$$$ address does not open until 5 PM from Monday to Friday.

Which Coconut Grove restaurants are open late for dinner?

Dinner is where the hours spread out: closing times run from 3 PM to 2 AM depending on the place and the night.

  • Past midnight: Level 6 Rooftop until 2 AM on Friday and Saturday and 1:30 AM on Thursday, and bartaco until 1 AM from Thursday to Saturday. Both close at midnight on the other nights.
  • Midnight: Chop Steakhouse & Bar from Wednesday to Saturday (11 PM from Sunday to Tuesday) and Bayshore Club on Friday and Saturday (10 PM from Monday to Thursday).
  • 11 PM on Friday and Saturday: Mister O1, Narbona, Da Angelino, Monty's Raw Bar, Pauloluigi and Koko, which adds Thursday. All six close at 10 PM on their other nights.
  • 10 PM or 10:30 PM: CRAFT Coconut Grove and Avo Miami at 10 PM every night, and Casa Xabi at 10:30 PM from Thursday to Sunday and 10 PM from Monday to Wednesday.

Three close early enough to change a dinner plan: Chug's Diner at 3 PM on Monday and Tuesday and 7 PM on Sunday, Drinking Pig BBQ at 8 PM on Sunday, and Bayshore Club at 9 PM on Sunday.

Only two close for a full day: Drinking Pig BBQ on Monday and Tuesday, and Pauloluigi on Tuesday. The other thirteen are open seven days a week.
