Matcha in Miami is spread across both sides of the bay: the places on this list run from Coral Gables to Miami Beach. By the numbers, Tea.Lab Wynwood holds a 5.0 on Google across 80 reviews, and two places sit at 4.9: Matcha Maven in Miami Beach, with 54 reviews, and The Matcha Edit, with 21. Google files Tea.Lab as a tea house and its listing does not name its drinks, so confirm the matcha on its menu before you go. This guide covers 8 addresses: seven in Downtown, Wynwood, the Design District, Miami Beach and Coral Gables, plus one in northwest Miami, with ratings, hours and price level. • Matcha Maven, 1510 Collins Ave, Miami Beach: 4.9 with 54 reviews.
• The Matcha Edit, 6610 NW 15th Ave: 4.9 with 21 reviews, the smallest sample on this list.
• GROU Coffee + Cowork (ours), 4100 Salzedo St STE 5, Coral Gables: 4.8 with more than 1,000 reviews.

The two largest samples are ours, with more than 1,000 reviews, and Dasher & Crank / Matcha Café, with 656. The other six run from 21 to 82 reviews.

Which Miami cafes are actually matcha cafes?

None of these listings sits in a matcha category on Google. They are filed as coffee shop, cafe, tea house or ice cream shop, so the clearest signal is the name on the door. Six of the 8 put matcha in the name: the two ALMATCHA branches, Aura Matcha, Matcha Maven, The Matcha Edit and Dasher & Crank / Matcha Café. ALMATCHA at 100 Biscayne Blvd is the only place that came up in all nine of our searches. Google files Dasher & Crank / Matcha Café as an ice cream shop.

The other two are Tea.Lab Wynwood and us. Tea.Lab is the one exception we made to the name rule: Google files it as a tea house, it came back in four of our nine searches, and it was the first result for "matcha Wynwood Miami". Google's listing does not name its drinks, so confirm the matcha before you go.

About those searches. We ran all nine on October 2, 2026, against Google's business listings, the ones behind Google Maps, with phrases like "best matcha Miami", "matcha latte Miami" and "ceremonial matcha Miami". They also returned dozens of coffee shops, cafes, bakeries and tea shops whose listings do not mention matcha. A search result is not a menu, so we left them out. We also left out listings with fewer than 20 reviews, and the ones with an address outside Miami, Miami Beach and Coral Gables.

Where can you get matcha in Downtown Miami?

One address on this list: ALMATCHA at 100 Biscayne Blvd Ste 104, rated 4.5 with 80 reviews. It opens Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 6 PM, and Saturday and Sunday from 8 AM to 4 PM. ALMATCHA has two branches on this list, so go by the address.

No Brickell address made the list. The first eleven results of our search for "matcha Brickell Miami" were listings without matcha in the name, most of them coffee shops, and the first one with matcha in its name was this same ALMATCHA, in twelfth place.

Where can you get matcha in Wynwood and the Design District?

North of Downtown the hours on this list shift later. None of these three opens before 10 AM.

• ALMATCHA, 140 NE 39th St 241 Floor 2: 10 AM to 6 PM Sunday to Thursday, 10 AM to 8 PM on Friday and Saturday. This is the Design District branch.
• Tea.Lab Wynwood, 2751 N Miami Ave Unit 3: noon to 8 PM Sunday to Thursday, noon to 9 PM on Friday and Saturday. It was the first result for "matcha Wynwood Miami", and Google files it as a tea house, so confirm the matcha on its menu.
• Dasher & Crank / Matcha Café, 2211 NW 2nd Ave: Monday to Thursday 1 PM to 8 PM, Friday 1 PM to 9 PM, Saturday 11 AM to 10 PM, Sunday 11 AM to 8 PM.

Where can you get matcha in Miami Beach?

Two addresses, both with matcha in the name, both open seven days a week from 8 AM. Matcha Maven at 1510 Collins Ave closes at 3 PM, and Aura Matcha at 318 20th St at 6 PM. Aura Matcha was the first result for "matcha Miami Beach" and Matcha Maven the second.

What time do matcha cafes open and close in Miami?

Sorted by opening time, the 8 fall into three groups.

• 7:30 AM: GROU (ours) Monday to Friday. On Saturday and Sunday we open at 8:30 AM.
• 8 AM: ALMATCHA at 100 Biscayne Blvd, Matcha Maven and Aura Matcha every day, and The Matcha Edit Tuesday to Saturday.
• 10 AM or later: ALMATCHA at 140 NE 39th St at 10 AM, Tea.Lab Wynwood at noon, and Dasher & Crank / Matcha Café at 1 PM Monday to Friday and 11 AM on Saturday and Sunday.

The latest closing times on the list: Dasher & Crank / Matcha Café closes at 8 PM Sunday to Thursday, 9 PM on Friday and 10 PM on Saturday, and Tea.Lab Wynwood at 8 PM, or 9 PM on Friday and Saturday. At the other end, Matcha Maven closes at 3 PM every day, and we close at 3 PM on Saturday and Sunday. One weekly closure to know about: The Matcha Edit does not open on Sunday or Monday. Where can you find ceremonial matcha in Miami?

Ceremonial is the grade meant to be whisked with water and drunk on its own, and it is the word people add to the search when they care about the powder. Google listings do not say which grade a cafe uses, so all we can report is what the search returns. For "ceremonial matcha Miami", the first five results on October 2, 2026 were The Matcha Edit, ALMATCHA at 100 Biscayne Blvd, Matcha Maven, Aura Matcha and ALMATCHA at 140 NE 39th St, in that order. That is a search ranking, not a statement about what is in the tin, so ask at the counter.

The Matcha Edit is the outlier on the map. Its address, 6610 NW 15th Ave, is in northwest Miami, away from the Downtown, Wynwood and Miami Beach clusters, and it opens Tuesday to Saturday, 8 AM to 4 PM.

The one grade we can speak for is our own. The Matcha Latte at GROU is described on our menu as made with ceremonial-grade matcha.

How much does a matcha latte cost in Miami?

Google publishes a price level for the business as a whole, not for a single drink, so treat it as a rough tier and not as the price of a matcha latte.

What matcha does GROU serve in Coral Gables?

This is our own entry, so read it as the owners talking. GROU Coffee + Cowork is at 4100 Salzedo St STE 5 in Coral Gables, a four minute walk from Shops at Merrick Park, not inside it. It is a specialty coffee shop with an all day brunch kitchen, and the coffee shop and the cowork space share one room. We are not in Downtown, in Wynwood or in Miami Beach, so on this list we are the stop for the Coral Gables side of town. We are on this list because it is our own shop and we know the menu, not because Google put us first: in our search for "matcha Coral Gables" we came up fifth. None of the four listings above us there has matcha in its name, so the rule we used for the rest of the list leaves them out.

On the menu, the Matcha Latte is $6.99 and is described as made with ceremonial-grade matcha and your choice of milk. Five flavored versions sit at the same $6.99: Strawberry Matcha, Blueberry Matcha, Mint Matcha, Orange Matcha and Coconut Sweet Matcha. The Pistachio Cold Foam Matcha is $7.49. The practical part: we do not take reservations, it is walk in only. Parking is free for 2 hours, and delivery runs through Uber Eats. We open Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 6 PM, and Saturday and Sunday from 8:30 AM to 3 PM. The phone is +1 (305) 639-8218. How much caffeine is in a matcha latte?

Roughly the same as a single shot of espresso. Count on 40 to 90 mg in a latte made with one teaspoon of matcha, and call it 70 mg if you need a single number.
