On May 16th at 3:00 p.m., GROU Coffee + Cowork hosted a creative afternoon filled with color, texture, and community during the Resin Art Experience – Ocean Edition led by @artbylizziestudio.
The introductory epoxy resin workshop welcomed guests into a relaxed and inspiring environment where participants explored the fundamentals of resin art through ocean-inspired wave techniques, abstract compositions, and warm coffee-toned palettes inspired by the atmosphere of GROU itself.
Over the course of approximately three hours, attendees learned step-by-step resin techniques while creating their own custom pieces in a hands-on experience designed for both beginners and creatives looking to experiment with a new medium.
Each participant created a mini tray, a customizable coaster, and a bookmark of their choice using a variety of materials, pigments, and finishes provided during the workshop. The intimate class size allowed for personalized guidance, conversation, and a collaborative creative atmosphere throughout the event.
At GROU Coffee + Cowork, experiences like these continue to bring together art, creativity, and community in a space designed for connection and inspiration in Coral Gables.
